Located in Downtown Los Angeles at the northeast corner of Figueroa and 5th Streets, Union Bank Plaza is an award winning landmark office tower comprised of more than 640,000 rentable square feet of office space. The 40-story office trophy building was constructed in 1967 as a hub of Los Angeles’ booming financial district. A 20,000-square-foot-street-level retail center was added to the structure in 1992. A stunning, full-scale renovation of the building’s garage, tower façade, path of travel, and public lobbies was completed in 1994. Hertz Investment Group purchased Union Bank Plaza in May, 2001, and sold it at a substantial profit in October, 2002.
