Hertz Investment Group acquired this 9-story 100,00-square-foot former regional headquarters of John D. Rockefeller’s legendary company in 1999. This “modern classic” tower houses several major downtown offices, and features a restored granite exterior and such period details as open spiral stairwells and brass mail drops. The property is located within walking distance of the famous Staples Center. The Standard Oil Building was owned and managed by Hertz Investment Group until 2006, when it was sold at a substantial profit.
