As President of
Hertz Investment Group, Mr. Horwitz is in charge of all real estate
acquisitions and dispositions, and of coordinating the asset strategy of
the company's entire portfolio. In addition, he oversees the management
and leasing of all of the properties owned by the company. As Chief
Financial Officer, Mr. Horwitz is responsible for all financial,
business and administrative needs of the company.
Mr. Horwitz
started his real estate career with JMB Realty 22 years ago. Since that
time he has been employed in a senior management capacity by Disney
Development Company, Transwestern Commercial Services, and by a high net
worth California real estate family. His experience in all the
disciplines of owning real estate is very well suited to The Hertz
Investment Group, given his success in both institutional and
entrepreneurial situations. Mr. Horwitz' hands-on operational experience
in developing, managing and leasing high profile and trophy assets
allows him to add great value to the portfolio. Mr. Horwitz has been
responsible for closing real estate transactions valued at over $1.5
billion. Mr. Horwitz earned his bachelors degree from Rhodes University
in South Africa. He is a licensed CPA and a licensed California real
estate broker.
