The Commerce Tower is a 30‑story, 438,171 square foot office tower located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The building, built in 1964 by Commerce Trust Company and substantially modernized since 1998, provides its tenants with a full complement of amenities, including auditorium/conference center, restaurant, bank, health club and retail stores. The Kansas City Central Business District is undergoing a profound resurgence with over $3 billion in publicly and privately funded improvements and subsidies, which, when completed will result in the addition of over 2,700 new residential units, a new $300 million performing arts center, a new 20,000 square foot sports arena, a multi-block entertainment district and new corporate headquarters facilities. Hertz Investment Group acquired this prestigious property in 2006. It is currently owned and managed by Hertz Investment Group. |
